dbrand have revealed new vinyl skins inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for the Steam Deck and the Nintendo Switch.

Today accessory-maker dbrand have revealed new vinyl skins for the Steam Deck and for the Nintendo Switch, which are heavily inspired (cloned, would be the better term) by the new Limited Edition Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch.

This limited edition skin, lovingly dubbed Clone of the Kingdom, will be available for $49.95 for either handheld. For the Nintendo Switch, the skin will wrap around the console itself, the JoyCons, and the dock. Included is:

  • Left Joy-Con - Controller Skin (Full Coverage) (×2)
  • Left Joy-Con - Controller Skin (Simple Fit) (×2)
  • Right Joy-Con - Controller Skin (Full Coverage)
  • Right Joy-Con - Controller Skin (Simple Fit)
  • Console - Back Skin
  • Dock - Front Skin
  • Microfiber Cloth
Steam Deck skin for Tears of the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, on the Steam Deck, the skin will wrap around the front and the back of Valve's handheld. Since there is no Legend of Zelda-themed Steam Deck, dbrand took its liberties with the design, but we must admit that they nailed it with this one. For the Steam Deck, here's what's included:

  • Front Skin
  • Back Skin
  • Top Strip Skin
  • Trackpad Skin (×2)
  • Microfiber Cloth

You can buy the Clone of the Kingdom skin starting now (May 12th, 2023) for the Nintendo Switch or the Steam Deck on dbrand's website.

This is the second time dbrand have copied the Nintendo Switch for a Steam Deck skin, after releasing their JoyCon-inspired skin earlier this year. We still don't know, how they can dodge Nintendo's lawyers.
