The Macintosh-inspired AYANEO AM01 is now live on Indiegogo for a starting price of $149.

The AYANEO Remake line is coming into existence properly now, and one part of that is the very eye-pleasing Retro Mini PC AM01. The device has already met its funding goal on IndieGoGo, but you can still throw some cash in there if you want to.

Outside of that side of things, we have a few more details about the Retro Mini PC that we're happy to share with you. From a visual standpoint, buyers will be able to enjoy the general design of the device, but also be able to personalize different magnetic decorative elements along with getting stickers as well. That's just the visual side, though.

The AYANEO AM01 Spec Sheet

From a power side, the device can house a CPU up to the AMD Ryzen 7 5700U, up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to a 1TB M.2 2280 PCI 3.0 SSD. It's not bad for the tiny size of the thing, and it should be capable of doing a fair bit of processing.

The full spec list is as follows:

  • Up to AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700U Option
  • Personalizable and Interchangeable Magnetic Decorative Elements
  • Personalized Decorative Stickers
  • DDR4 Dual Channel Memory | M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 SSD

    • 3.5mm headphone jack
    • Front-facing USB-C 3.2 Gen1 Type C port
    • 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2
    • USB 2.0
    • HDMI 2.0
    • DisplayPort 1.4
  • With Windows 11 Home Edition installation
Pricing grid for the AM01

The price is pretty attractive, too. While the basic version will set you back $199, or $149 if you get in early. If you go for the most powerful take on it, you'll be spending $459 or $379 if you get the early bird price. It's not a bad price point at all, and while we'll need to test it out to see what it can handle, it could definitely be a fun way to enjoy a PC in a new form factor.

Also, if you want to enjoy the general vibes that AYANEO are going for here, we recommend checking out the trailer on YouTube. The whole aesthetic is immaculate here, and we are really looking forward to seeing what this adorable tiny PC can manage.
