A last-minute delay for upcoming pro-wrestling meets RPG title WrestleQuest sees the game pushed to later this month.
Pro-wrestling meets RPG game WrestleQuest has been delayed and will now make its debut on August 22, 2023.
The new title from Mega Cat Studios was originally set to launch on Tuesday, August 8, but will now launch later this month due to a critical save game bug that was discovered just prior to release.
This unexpected, last-minute postponement was announced via a joint statement from developer Mega Cat Studios and publisher Skybound Games. The announcement, shared on X (Twitter), states:
"When performing final checks on one of our launch platforms, we discovered it was possible for players to lose their save game progress when playing WrestleQuest on multiple different devices. Because this is a game filled with hours of content and player progress is so important, we could never bodyslam our fans like that."
Those who have been eagerly anticipating WrestleQuest don't need to wait much longer however, as the studio confirmed that the new wrestling adventure game will hit Steam, the Nintendo eShop, and other platforms on Tuesday, August 22. So, a delay of just a few short weeks in order to fix this unfortunate save game issue.
We selected Mega Cat Studios new title as just one of the highlights hitting Steam this month — so, if you're now find yourself waiting for WrestleQuest, why not take a look over what other games are landing on Steam throughout August to help plug the gap.
