There's around 30 games coming to the Nintendo Switch this week, including Red Dead Redemption, Marble It Up Ultra, and the celebrated Vampire Survivors.
🛍 Monday, August 14 — Sunday, August 20
A whole new faction of garlic mains are about to be born this week as Poncle's much-loved roguelite Vampire Survivors finally makes its debut on Nintendo's hybrid.
The 2022 smash hit (did you know it won BAFTAs Best Game award) lands on the Switch alongside nearly 30 other games. As ever, we've gone through all of the upcoming eShop games to bring you the full list, and to give you a quick idea of what each release is about.
Beyond Vampire Survivors, this week also sees the pricey port of 2010's Red Dead Redemption, a new Marble It Up game, and Moving Out 2.
Last week saw the likes of Stray Gods and Unidentified Falling Objects land on the Switch. WrestleQuest was also due to launch last week, but was delayed due to a critical bug.
You'll find a list below of every game coming to the Nintendo Switch over the next seven days, alongside a brief description, and a link out to where you can find more information — such as trailers, screenshots, etc.
🗓 Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games:
Tuesday, August 15
- Astro Flame: Starfighter — A classic space-themed scrolling shooter but with a modern 3D look.
- Black Skylands — A steampunk-themed open-world top-down shooter meets adventure game in the skies.
- 🎮 Moving Out 2 — A return of more physics-based party mayhem. Haul furniture around as a team.
- Summer Valley Hike — A pretty chill looking, budget 3D walking sim.
Wednesday, August 16
- Creepy Tale: Ingrid Penance — A macabre interactive 2D adventure filled with bizarre events and puzzles.
- The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood — This is a 'thought-provoking narrative experience' about a fortune-telling witch. M for mature.
Thursday, August 17
- A Castle Full of Cats — A budget-friendly hidden object game about finding cats, with a slight Metroidvania twist.
- Aery: Flow of Time — Combat-free bird flight sim.
- Chrome Wolf — Fantasy RPG featuring turn-based tank battles.
- Die After Sunset — A 3D 'action-packed' roguelite adventure through time in which Earth is under attack by aliens.

- Forklift 2024: The Simulation — A 3D sim game with some uplifting challenges.
- Gauntler — Pixel-art platformer.
- Hidden Shapes: Cat Realm + Tricks or Cats — A bundle of two 'enchanting and calming' minimalist puzzle games.
- Marble it Up! Ultra — I loved Marble Blast on the Xbox 360, and had fun with the first Marble It Up game, so I'm pleased to see more of 3D platforming...with a marble.
- Quantum: Recharged — 40 years on from the Arcade original comes this revival.
- Red Dead Redemption — Rockstar's Wild West epic. M for mature. A physical release is planned later in the year.
- Sable's Grimoire: Man and Elf — Magic-themed visual novel. M for mature.
- Satay Shop Tycoon — An Indonesian street food business sim.
- Shinobi Non Grata — A 'hardcore' retro 2D ninja action platformer.
- Vampire Survivors — A really addictive time survival roguelite. If you haven't played this elsewhere yet, I'd recommend giving this a go — an overkill favourite.
Friday, August 18
- Airplane Race Simulator — A two-player 3D plane sim.
- Cat's Cosmic Atlas — Cosmic interactive picture book.
- Neko Journey — A 2.5D side-scrolling action platformer. M for mature.
