The Steam Deck can play a wide variety of modern hits and old classics, as this list from Valve proves.
To mark the very first anniversary of the Steam Deck (and the launch of the 2023 Spring Sale), Steam decided to share an official list of the top one hundred games that Steam Deck owners have played the most during the past year.
As you might expect the list includes a mix of both new releases and old classics, all of which either Deck Verified or Playable (bar one or two notable exceptions).
It's interesting to see what position on the chart certain games rank at — such as the relatively recent release of Hogwarts Legacy, which despite only being available for a few weeks finds itself sitting at the number one spot — it had a huge launch.
Another big entry is that of Vampire Survivors — one that I've spent countless hours playing over the past few months.
Plenty of older games rank too, including titles from as early as 2004, 2007, and 2009.
Xbox favourite Halo Infinite, the prequel Yakuza 0, and sci-fi classic Mass Effect round-out the list of one hundred, coming in at 98, 99, and 100 respectively.
The full top 100 Steam Deck games, sorted by their peak player count during the last twelve months, can be found below.
