The foldable portable is a proof-of-concept for now.
You may remember late last year we shared news of a fresh patent hinting at a possible Samsung foldable gaming handheld. Well, wonder no more as the Android-powered device is very much a thing, having now been revealed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event taking place in Barcelona.
The new device was on show at a Samsung gaming booth, and it kinda looks like someone took a Switch Lite and folded it half.
This 'Flex Gaming' handheld appears to be just a proof-of-concept of the display technology for now, so it's as yet unknown whether this 7.2-inch prototype will ever become a shipping product. Reporting at Android Police noted that attendees to MWC were not allowed to touch the device or go hands-on.

However, if they can sort out the horrendous, visible crease, then having a powerful handheld that you can fold up like a GBA SP would probably be a pretty nice option amongst the world of various Android gaming portables.
