Horror experience Resident Evil Village has been confirmed as a PSVR 2 launch title.
Capcom producer Kanda Tsuyoshi has confirmed that Lady Dimitrescu will be towering over folks in virtual reality this coming February, when the VR version of Resident Evil Village launches alongside the PSVR 2.
In a post over on the PlayStation blog, Tsuyoshi detailed that the VR version for the new PlayStation VR 2 device will be a free DLC add-on for the original game.
This VR mode, which was first announced earlier this year in June, will make the entire (roughly 10-hour) main story available to play in virtual reality.
Tsuyoshi noted that players, holding the new PSVR 2 Sense controllers, will:
"feel the vibration, recoil, and resistance as you interact with objects in the world and fire weapons"
Players will need a copy of either Resident Evil Village or Resident Evil Village Gold Edition to grab this free DLC — so it may be worth picking a copy up of the game in advance if you don't have one already.
Resident Evil Village VR Mode is a PSVR 2 launch title, and will arrive on February 22, 2023.
