Using the MIG Switch flashcard on the Switch 2 may well get your console banned.
Maybe don't use your MIG Switch flashcard with your fancy new Switch 2 — several reports suggest that Nintendo are now banning any consoles that do just that.
The MIG Switch, which released last year, allows folks to load Switch ROMs onto a memory card, which can then be inserted into the Switch cartridge slot to play. The website for the device touts it as a "3rd party back-up, preservation and development device", however it's pretty much thought of as a device to enable piracy on Nintendo's handheld.
When the Switch 2 launched earlier this month the flashcard did not work in Nintendo's new machine, however the MIG folks released an update for the flashcard to overcome this. But now various first-hand accounts share that using the device results in a console ban.
Reddit users noted that trying to go online results in an error reading: "The use of online services on this console is currently restricted by Nintendo".

Piracy on the original Switch was a thorny issue for Nintendo, with various emulators and tools available to facilitate piracy. Now, it's early days for knowing how things will ultimately play out on the Switch 2, but it being backwards compatible with the original hardware is one probable big way for things to be unpicked.
Whatever ends up happening, Nintendo is clearly on the front foot here, wanting to get ahead of anything taking hold.
