Dbrand is bringing Project Killswitch to the ASUS ROG Ally along with dedicated skins for the handheld PC.
Dbrand is bringing the Killswitch case originally designed for the Steam Deck (you can find our review/comparison here) to the ASUS ROG Ally.
And unlike the Steam Deck version, Dbrand has officially worked with ASUS to design the ROG Ally version. As Dbrand CEO Adam Ijaz told The Verge, the engineering team at ASUS shared with Dbrand which vents are needed for airflow, so the accessory manufacturer ensured that all vents and ports had enough clearance for maximum compatibility.
At the same time, the robots at Dbrand also started teasing skins for the ROG Ally, as the package contains a skin of your choice – with more to come. Here is what else will come with the ROG Ally Killswitch:
For $59.95, you get:
- Killswitch Case
- Built-in Kickstand
- Built-in microSD card storage
- Skin of your choice
For $74.95, you get:
- Killswitch Case
- Built-in Kickstand
- Built-in microSD card storage
- Skin of your choice
- Travel Cover (also sold standalone)
- Stick Grips (also sold standalone)
The Killswitch will be released in Q1 2024, and you can reserve yours for a (refundable) fee of $3.
