AYN started teasing a new Android handheld, clearly inspired by the PS Vita.
Update: We've got some more info from AYN! We now know that this device is called the Odin2 Mini, has a starting price of $339, and features a Snapdragon 8Gen2 processor.
For the full specs:
Handheld manufacturer AYN, known for their Odin line-up, teased a new handheld in several steps over on their Discord.
First they released this cryptic image (below), showcasing that the device will come in at 320 grams.
Later, they started to reveal a little more of the device. According to them, it will include a miniLED screen, with up to 1100 nits peak brightness (that is VERY bright), and a sRGB coverage of 155%.
Finally, we got to see the whole device:
As you can see, this is very clearly a PS Vita inspired design. From the buttom placement to the overall shape, this could just as well be designed by Sony. Also, going by the weight of the device, and the lower left home-button, this will clearly be an Android-based device.
