🔗 Zotac will show the Zone successor at Computex
The GAMING ZONE will feature an AMD HX 370, and run Manjaro Linux.
Zotac is teasing the successor to the Zotac Zone again, this time at Computex in Taipei, Taiwan.
The new prototype, called ZOTAC GAMING ZONE, will feature the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU (ok, seriously, who comes up with these names?!) and run a flavor of Manjaro Linux specifically designed for handheld PCs.
The first time I got my hands on the original Zotac Zone was at gamescom 2024, and I was a big fan of what I saw. Back then, I wrote:
While we only had limited time with a preproduction unit running beta software, and we naturally couldn't fully benchmark it, so far the Zotac Zone feels like one of the most feature-complete Windows handheld PCs I've tested so far.
Can't wait to see their second take.
