The Vivo Vision is the "can I copy your homework?" of headsets.
Chinese consumer electronics brand Vivo has unveiled a new mixed reality headset, and it's one that's bound to turn a few heads over in Cupertino.
Their 'Vivo Vision' device is very clearly inspired by Apple's Vision Pro, with many design details bearing a striking resemblance to those found on Apple's flailing $3,500 headset. UploadVR called it a blatant clone, and well, it's hard to disagree.
The headset features a front-glass panel just like the one found on Apple's Vision Pro. The Vivo Vision also features a similarly shaped external battery pack, which also seems to connect via a little circular puck — just like Apple's device. The headband also has a striking resemblance to the one Apple designed for its headset. Inspired!

This upcoming device was revealed at the recent Boao Forum conference. Vivo, who typically make a range of smartphones, detailed that this mixed reality headset — their first — is expected to launch later this year (with a vague mid-2025 date being all we know right now).
No details on specs just yet either, or an expected price point — but I imagine its safe to say if and when this thing does come to market it will likely carry a cheaper price point than Apple's hefty cost of entry.
