YouTuber turned console manufacturer Taki Udon has announced the price and release date for his new SuperStation One, an FPGA-powered PlayStation clone.
Starting at $149.99 for the “Founder’s Edition” (hard-capped at $225 after pre-orders), the SuperStation One is designed to streamline the MiSTer experience (more on the MiSTer project). This all-in-one solution offers built-in analog output, USB, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth, and SNAC support, all packed into a case that screams “PSOne vibes.” It also comes in three colors: black, white, and that transparent blue from the post above.
The preorder-times are as follows:
- 6 p.m. PST on Saturday, January 25
- 9 p.m. EST on Saturday, January 25
- 2 a.m. GMT on Sunday, January 26
- 10 a.m. HKT, on Sunday, January 26
- 1 p.m. AEDT, on Sunday, January 26
The SuperStation One plays nice with all MiSTer cores, but it’s the PSX_MiSTer core that shines here. For disc purists, there’s a SuperDock in the works, complete with a CD/DVD drive, USB ports, and SSD storage.
I don't have much nostalgia for the PS One, despite owning one, but I somehow really want this thing.
