🔗 SteamOS 3.7 is out, bringing official support for the Lenovo Legion Go S
SteamOS 3.7 also brings limited support for other AMD-powered handhelds
After a long beta period, the public release of SteamOS 3.7 is now out, bringing official support for Valve's Linux-based operating system to the Lenovo Legion Go S.
Additionally, this update also adds, amongst other things, an updated desktop mode, an updated Arch Linux base and Linux kernel, and probably most interestingly, adds limited support for other AMD-powered handhelds. The changelog mentions the ASUS ROG Ally and the original Legion Go as examples of such devices.
Fittingly, Valve has also updated the support page, detailing how you can create a recovery drive to install SteamOS on your own AMD-based handhelds.
You can find the full changelog on Valve's website.
