There are now officially 5000 verified and playable games for Steam Deck on Steam, as first reported by Gamingonlinux and later confirmed by the official Twitter account,

However, this doesn't mean there are only 5000 games for Steam Deck, as many games currently marked as unknown and unplayable are, in fact, playable with a bit of work like installing GE-Proton.
Valve still has plenty more to try out, and I wonder how many of them will be weird like this one.
