Ryujinx now belongs to Nintendo

The domain for the Switch emulator is now in the hands of Nintendo.

When Ryujinx died last month, it wasn't directly clear what the deal between Nintendo and the project owner looked like.

Whilst we still don't know if any money exchanged hands, we now at least know that the original Ryujinx domain (ryujinx.org, now offline) is in the hands of Nintendo.

A check on who.is, a tool to verify who owns a domain clearly shows, that Nintendo of America is now the sole owner of the ryujinx.org domain.

Going by the data in the screenshot above, the domain has only recently been transferred to Nintendo — and with the website address set to expire no later than 2031, the chances that anybody else will be picking it up, are slim.
