Sorry Mega Bloks, Pokemon used Brick Break, it was highly effective!
Starting at some point next year, LEGO will be releasing Pokemon themed sets. The news was announced over on the official LEGO website, noting that starting in 2026 fans can "electrify" their imaginations by building "something we’ve never built with LEGO bricks before".
This move over LEGO comes following a long-standing brick building relationship between Pokemon and LEGO-competitor Mega Bloks. We can hazard a guess that any licensing deal The Pokemon Company has with Mega Books is coming to end this year — making way for LEGO to get in on the action.
No details as to what actual sets we can expect is known just yet, but the site (and official Pokemon X account) did share a glimpse at a Pikachu tail made from LEGO bricks.
