A short, rare response from Nintendo on details regarding their unannounced next system.

In a rare move, Nintendo has commented on the recent spate of leaked details and claims regarding the Switch 2.

Speaking to Japanese publication The Sankei Shimbun, a spokesperson for Nintendo noted that the recent images and videos seen online — particularly those from accessory maker Genki — "are not official".

It's something of an obvious, and empty statement from the company, and one that doesn't actually counter the claims made by Genki and others. However, it is rather interesting to see the typically tight lipped Nintendo make any comment on such leaks — suggesting that the sheer scale of details coming to light have compelled the to issue a response.
