Here's the latest 'Claw' handheld from the Taiwanese tech giant.
Taiwanese tech giant MSI first got into the increasingly crowded handheld gaming PC space in March of last year with the release of their original Claw portable — and now the hardware maker is back with another. This time however they are notably ditching Intel and using AMD's popular Ryzen chip.
To be specific this new Claw A8, revealed at Computex 2025, is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme.
The new model, which will be available in either white or a bright lime green, has an 8-inch 120Hz screen, 24GB of memory, and an internal 1TB SSD.
MSI will still offer Intel powered devices however, as they also announced an Intel-flavoured 'Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest Edition' handheld at Computex (seriously, who is naming these things).

The company said they're "aggressively expanding its reach in the handheld gaming sphere", adding that this upcoming dual launch "empowers gamers with the freedom to choose between AMD and Intel platforms, tailoring their experience to their preferences".
No further details on price or launch date were shared, but I can't imagine we'll have to wait too long for this one to arrive.
