🔗 Marvel Snap just got banned in the U.S.

App is published by Nuverse, a company owned by TikTok's ByteDance.

Thanos Snap! A U.S. law requiring Chinese company ByteDance to sell its stake in TikTok has come into effect — but the ban has also hit popular Superhero card battler Marvel Snap.

The app has now been removed from both the Google Play and App Store for users in the United States, and those who attempt to play will see a splash screen noting that "Marvel Snap isn't available right now" due to this legal change. The screen adds that the publisher is "working to restore" service for those in the U.S.

Incoming President Trump has indicated that he'll look for a "solution to reinstate" TikTok — if and when that happens, Marvel Snap, along with other ByteDance linked apps, should return and be playable once again for U.S. users.

Marvel Snap is banned, just like TikTok
