A new Kickstarter project, launched earlier today, is hoping to help you find great games to play based on what you already love.

This unique game discovery web app, dubbed Ludocene, is aiming to make finding your next gaming love not only fun, but so much easier. Here’s the quick pitch:

• A dating app that matches you with games rather than people.
• A deck-builder that discerns your next favourite game.
• A recommendation engine powered by experts you know and trust.

It’s a refreshingly human approach to game discovery, and one that’s based on years of curatorial experience, and expert opinion.

Once launched the app will be free to use, but will offer a subscription tier. The Kickstarter funds will help pay the experts helping build out the game recommendations.

The Kickstater is live now, and is seeking just over $30,000.
