New leaked images seem to show an early hardware sample of Sony's upcoming PlayStation streaming handheld.
We've now got our first real-world look at the PlayStation Project Q handheld, courtesy of leaked pictures shared via Imgur.
The device, first announced in late May, is slated for release later this year and will offer gamers a way to play PS5 games on a portable device.
These new images and videos, which have since been widely shared on Twitter by user @Zuby_Tech, show somebody playing with a physical hardware sample of the upcoming device, highlighting the overall design of the Project Q, the touch screen, and triggers.
The device appears to be an early hardware sample running a custom version of Android.
Beyond the initial teaser from Sony back in May, not much else is yet known about this device — but one things for sure, right now it seems to be a bit of an odd offering from Sony.
