Doom: The Dark Ages currently crashes on boot on Valve's handheld PC.
Doom: The Dark Ages launches on May 15th.
But today the embargo lifted, and while we are hoping for an update, as of right now, the game does not work on Steam Deck.
This might also explain why the Verified Status for Steam Deck is currently still at "Unknown".

There are still 6 days left, so technically more than enough time for id Software to fix the game, but if you were planning to run the game on Valve's handheld, maybe wait a little and don't preorder the game for now.
