Currently in beta, the popular price tracking and wishlist site wants to help PC gamers too.
Established gaming price tracker and wishlist site Deku Deals is soon adding in support for the behemoth that is the Steam store.
Up until this point, the popular deal tracking website — reportedly used by over 300,000 users — has kept tabs on the libraries of the Nintendo Switch, along with Xbox and PlayStation platforms. Now however, the site is looking to support the vast, vast library of over 100,000+ software titles available via Steam — essentially adding in support for the huge PC platform to the handy site.
For those unfamiliar, Deku Deals, which has been around since 2017, allows users to see the historical price points of games over time, add games to a wishlist, and get notifications of when a game goes on sale. The site not only tracks digital storefronts, such as Nintendo's eShop, but also keeps an eye on game prices across various (some 30+) stores such as Amazon, Best Buy, and others.
The site, created by Michael Fairley, has proven to be a handy tool for many during the Switch generation, especially considering that the eShop isn't particularly the easiest or snappiest thing to use.
This addition of Steam support has been in the works for several months now, and is currently in testing with beta users. The addition of Steam support takes the number of games tracked by Deku Deals from roughly 75,000 up to a huge 230,000 titles. Steam support on Deku Deals is expected to roll out fully, once beta testing has concluded, before the end of the year.
If you want one location to do all your wishlisting, be that games from Steam, the Xbox Store, the PlayStation store, or the Nintendo eShop — Deku Deals can soon offer you just that. Neat.
