Boox just upgraded its 7-inch Go Series with Android 13, stylus support, and note-taking tools. And they are teasing a 13.3” Tab X C aimed at productivity.
Boox is releasing two new E-Ink tablets, the Boox Go 7 and the Go Color 7 Gen 2. Both are follow-ups to already existing devices (the Go 7 seems to replace the Go 6), and I reviewed and liked the original Go Color 7.
Both models run Android 13 (the predecessors are stuck at Android 12), giving users access to the Google Play Store and making it easy to install apps for reading, writing, and more.

The Go 7 features a 7" monochrome E Ink Carta 1300 display (300ppi), comes in black or white, and includes improved physical page turn buttons (which is a welcome change as it was one of the features I criticized in my original review), 64GB of internal storage, and a microSD slot. It’s up for preorder now at $249.99, shipping May 7.
The Go Color 7 Gen 2 adds Kaleido 3 color tech to its 7", offering 4096 colors at 150ppi (300ppi in black and white). It keeps the same form factor and will retail for $279.99 once available.
Both models support the pressure-sensitive InkSense stylus (sold separately for $45.99), which is a first for the line-up.
Meanwhile, Boox is also teasing a new Tab X C, aimed at serious productivity. It features a 13.3” Kaleido 3 display, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, Boox Super Refresh tech, front light tuning, and support for their new InkSpire stylus.
This looks like it tries to compete with the reMarkable Paper Pro (my review is coming soon) or the Supernote Manta (review also coming soon).
If it performs well, it could be their most capable color e-paper device to date.
