Here's our list of what upcoming games landing on Steam this month our worth taking a look at.
In my part of the world the clocks have just changed, the evenings are getting longer, and the urge to just hide away of an evening and play some games is strong. Thankfully, there's plenty of cool stuff coming out over the next few weeks to help scratch that itch.
I've taken a look at the biggest releases coming to Steam in November, and I've got a list of the best looking titles here for you today. I'll be sure to note Steam Deck compatibility if known.

Alien Hominid Invasion

This co-op run 'n' gun action game is a follow-up to the once Flash-game Alien Hominid (which is also coming to Steam in a new HD release). You and your pals play as aliens blasting through endless waves of secret agents who want you dead. Four players with online play. If you liked Castle Crashers, you'll dig this.

A turn-based, strategic roguelite tabletop RPG in which you, either solo or as a party of four, battle against a tyrannical Queen and end her oppressive reign. The 2018 original was really well received, and has over 25,000 'Very Positive' reviews on Steam.

RoboCop: Rogue City

Part man, part machine, part movie legend RoboCop features in this new first-person shooter. It's an original story, single player action experience that aims to give you the same brutal feeling of delivering justice as seen in the movies. Fans of the films will be pleased to note that Peter Weller, the original RoboCop actor, returns to voice the robotic bobby.

The Talos Principal 2

The Talos Principal 2 is the sequel to the much celebrated 2014 puzzle platformer original.
This sci-fi follow up is said to continue along the line of offering up thought-provoking and at times philosophical moments all via a series of mind-bending 3D exploration and puzzle challenges.
There's a demo available, and The Tales Principal 2 is Steam Deck compatible, thanks to its 'Playable' rating.

Star Ocean The Second Story R

This is the second instalment in the Star Ocean series โ returning here with a new, updated lush 2.5D look (kinda like Octopath Traveler), and plenty of quality of life improvements too.
The game first arrived on the original PlayStation back in 1998 as 'Star Ocean: The Second Story', and now this new 'R' release from Square Enix brings the science fantasy JPRG back for a new audience.

EA Sports WRC

This new FIA World Rally Championship official racer comes from the same team that created the excellent DiRT series. As such, there's high hopes that this offers an immersive and realistic rally driving experience.
You can try the new WRC game via EA Play โ but it's worth noting that WRC is currently marked as 'Unsupported' on Steam Deck โ although some folks have found a rather simple workaround for that.
StrangerZ

Just missing Halloween is StrangerZ, a 3D free-to-play multiplayer survival horror game that's currently on over 70,000 wishlists.
You and a group of pals have to defend your home, and survive until morning, all whilst the 'Stranger' attempts to break in and do you harm. You either player as an at home survivor, or the attacking stranger.

Football Manager 2024

Taking a team from the bottom leagues to the top flight of football is the aim of the game here. You're a manager tasked with the job of handling the squad in this always popular, deep sports strategy sim.

The Invincible

A cosmic, philosophical 3D adventure based on the sci-fi novel of the same name from Polish author Stanisลaw Lem. You play as a scientist exploring planet Regis III. It has a rad kinda retro-future, hard sci-fi look to it. There'a demo available.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name

Another entry in the long-running, much-loved Yakuza / Like a Dragon series. This time the action RPG follows Kazuma Kiryu โ he's has faked his own death, abandoning his name in an effort to protect his family. But, he ends up thrust into a conflict by a force that's trying to drive him out of hiding.

Strike Force Heroes

Here's a 2D army/warfare arena shooter with both PvP and co-op online multiplayer. It's based on the Flash game of the same name โ and has now received the modern, remake treatment. If you played the original, this will no doubt scratch an online nostalgia itch.

Broken Roads

This dusty, indie RPG is a narrative-adventure set in an Australian post-apocalyptic setting. The game, complete with strategic turn-based combat, isometric camera, and important in-game choices to make, has been "born of a love for traditional computer role-playing" experiences.

Spirittea

This charming looking RPG meets lifetime is about running your own Spirited Away style bathhouse and taming all the troublesome ghosts and spirits floating around town. Solve the spirits problems, make friends in town, and decorate your space. Looks like quite a cute, relaxing fantasy sim.
KarmaZoo

A unique multiplayer indie game about 'finding bliss in cooperation'.
This 2D co-op experience lets up to ten players come together to take on a series of casual platforming challenges โ the journey throughout is all about how players chose to help each other, and work together to progress. Players earn karma as they play, which can be used to unlock the 50 or so animal playable characters.
Death Must Die

A Vampire Survivors style action roguelike in which you take on endless hordes of Death's minions. Has an almost Hades like look and feel โ looks cool. It's in Early Access, and a demo is available now.
The Last Faith

This is a 2D soulslike meets Metroidvania with a heavily gothic style. A dark side-scroller with "merciless and precise combat", plenty of big baddies, and a wide variety of weapons to approach things with. There's castles, medieval streets, and mountains to explore โ all with lovely pixel art.
There's a demo available if you want to give it a go before jumping in.
Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections

Anime action fighting game with over 130 playable characters. That's quite the roster of ninjas to choose from. Beyond the PvP action, the story adventure tells the story of Naruto and Sasuke โ retelling their rivalry via original scenes from the anime and intertwined battle experiences.

Bluey: The Videogame

This is an action adventure game in which you explore the world of hit kids TV show Bluey. There's four adventures to complete, local co-op, and in-game collectibles to find.

Persona 5 Tactica

Gangs of Sherwood

Ok, this one caught my eye as I don't live too far from Nottingham in the UK, which is where this game is based. It's an online action game for up to four players in which you play as Robin Hood and his gang (Marian, Friar Tuck or Little John) working to 'free the people' and defeat armies, all whilst you romp through the English countryside.
