We got some official answers from Ubisoft before the launch.

Well, looks like Ubisoft changed their stance after all. It's a "yes" now:
Many of you have been asking about Steam Deck. We are happy to say that we are supporting Steam Deck at launch and are currently awaiting the level of classification from Valve. More info to come soon.

Previous post: The answer is nope. Here is what Ubisoft had to say:
At launch, the game will not be compatible with Steam Deck, due to the fact it is below our minimum specs for PC.
Maybe the community can make it run, but I wouldn't hold my breath. (Thankfully, I have a 4090, so I can just stream it to the Deck. Or play it on my TV.)
